I'm working in Tooting at the moment and we have the most fantastic local greasy spoons, on top of the amazing curry houses. This picture is of Simon's Diner, in the car park of Wimbledon Greyhound Track. I love the decor and the portions are huge.
Also with huge portions and looking more like a traditional caff than an American Diner, is H's Cafe on Blackshaw Road. Both serve excellent, quality, no nonsense grub and both are unfortunately within 5-10 minutes walk of my office.
